These are the words of Francesca Polveroni, CEO of Saico, a family predisposition so marked that the eldest son Luca Bei, standard-bearer of generational change, from the day of his entry into the company pushes decisively on the accelerator of innovation. As a computer technician, he immediately understood the need to equip the company with a new 4.0 management program, specific for box factories, capable of managing the handling of pallets within the plant, and of connecting with logistics.

At the end of the line, a fully automated mobile platform, managed by software that answers the calls of the casemaker lines, moves towards them, to go and collect the packages already stacked on the pallets, and send them, according to the set instructions, to the wrapping machine.

The same (also fully automatic), wraps the pallet with polyethylene film. The result is a much more stable pallet unit, quick service, and savings in terms of manual labor for the employees, who can carry out other jobs where their contribution is essential, simultaneously raising the level of attention that the company always has. held towards the health and safety of the worker.

But the innovation doesn’t stop there. Next arrival, a brand new line with high definition printing in 6 colors plus varnishing with an autoplatin line, an acquisition that will complete Saico in terms of product solutions.
